My wife is out shopping now. She likes the 50% off items.

For me, I've been looking at one of these for a while...

http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/conten...make~Sharp.htm

The Sharp Aquos range [Titanium} has been quite inviting for some time... but thought it best to wait until after Xmas... and sure enough, price drop... it was going for £1545 or so before Xmas so I don't buy into the £1799 they're quoting on there now, they inflat the prices so it looks like you're getting "a better deal" - but I may wait some more... until the spring...

Funny though, now I've hit 30... I don't mind waiting

I was going to pick up an iPod, but I slept in . Not that iPods were on sale or anything like that, but they were giving away a free $20 iTunes card with the purchase of one.

I ended up picking up a couple DVD's and a blender. There were many good deals to go around, it just seems like I'm not in the market for any of the gear that was on sale.

-Digital camera, not now.
-Plasma TV's will be dropping significantly in price in the new year, now that they've found a cheaper way to make them.
-Laptop, waiting for the 10th..

Got this in the mail and I love it. Makes me laugh every time I read it. You have to be a New Yorker to really appreciate this shirt.

Noah

Can they get any cheaper? There's all kinds of deals for 50" Plasmas for $1500-2000, that's crazy! If they go down in price any further I think I'm going to faint.

I could not get into most retail establishments yesterday. They were far too crowded-not "Christmas Eve crowded" but close enough. I got a very nice Visa gift certificate for Christmas, and I'm biding my time before I brave the stores to even consider using it.
