The music window is actually pretty neat! Reminds me of those instruments... someone help with the name, but they made those scifi type noises, and you played them by waving your hand in front of them.

You should release that music app as a little freeware toy!

LOL reason there are no mac viruses is because Mac's are to secure for them to spread, the smaller market for them to spread and the OS is more secure for them to run on there own. On downloading programs, its easy for any one to write a program to make a mess of your mac when you run it, hell I could cause some damage using Hypercard if you have classic installed to prove my point.

Wrong answer.

The reason why there are (and hopefully never will be) as much malware on Macs is also that Mac user's have on average a lower idiot factor. Which means: you don't just execute any- and ever app that you run into.

Okay then.

Assuming this were a hostile program; Would it have made any difference to you if the author had falsely identified it as, I don't know, a simple test program that flashed pictures of different bananas? Would you be less angry that it did damage to your system because the author at least gave some kind of description of it before you downloaded it? Of course not.

Think before you wig out.

Any time you download anything, anywhere from the internet, you're taking a risk. So, what exactly is your point?

True. But I'm definitely more suspicious when somebody announces new software in a forum like the Lounge... If I find it on Versiontracker or similar sites, I assume it has been tested by somebody before.
