Just happened to me a few minutes back.

Reached for a mid afternoon snack and opened a can of Activa probiotic yogurt (made by DANONE), was even enjoying the odd muesli I bit into and then bam! my mouth was suddenly filled with a flavour that can only be felt when you bite into an insect (i am guessing), foul rancid dead insect of the beetle kind for sure! but I chewed on and even thought hmmm insects are indeed part of human diet in some parts...arrrrghhh goddamitttt, bye bye Activa!

ahaha Activia (BIO in France, but name will be changed because it's not BIO and therefore illegal) has a LOT (more) of bacteria in it. That *could* explain it???

that sounds pretty gross.

i bought a bottle of chocolate milk on the 20th of this month, with an expiration date of the 24th. the last thing on my mind when i took my first sip was that it was off. it tasted like chocolate milk and lemon juice.

it was so bad.

Well, considering that food standards include the percentage of insects, mold, rotten bits, etc, that are allowed, yeah, we do eat stuff like that all the time!

I'd say: stick to Coke !
That's guaranteed 100% chemicals.

I Love yogurt, it's a healthy dessert or snack.

I love the Astro brand fruit-on-the-bottom yogurt. They're labeled as balkan style. You shake 'em up for a bit until they get all smoothie-like and I literally drink those things, they're so f'in good.

Whenever I travel to Portugal too, they have these yogurts that taste just like 'em, but they come in these glass mini-milk bottles. Good shite i tell ya!

But yeah, those grain yogurts? Blech, can't stand 'em.

Sums up the Balkans pretty well.
