Earlier in the year it was reported that Sony and Konica Minolta were teaming up to develop Digital SLRs.

Has anyone heard anything in the news / on the rumour mill about any upcomign products?
I was thinking of buying a Canon Rebel XT, but i really like Sony gear (though the first gen products will probably be skippable), have plenty of accessories and 1gb memory sticks so i figured i wait it out.

Any goss?

They will probably announce a new dslr at the CES (consumer electronics show) or the PMA (photo marketing assn) next year. I was kinda worried, but I have a 7D which I bought for only a tad more than the Rebel xt and it's in another league. I love it!

If they develop something it could either be the succesor to the 7d (the 9D) or something more prosumer. If it's as good as the cameras KM's already making it should be worth it.

Wait a bit and see.
