Do any of you have a New Year's party or dinner tomorrow?

What's on the menu?

I'm making a turkey. We had turkey for Thanksgiving, Honeybaked ham for Christmas, and since I'm out of ideas we're having turkey tomorrow, again.

No matter...we love turkey around here.

Happy New Year!

Wild Turkey may be consumed later this evening, if I'm stupid enough. Or perhaps in a flask tomorrow as I prepare for my New year's swim.

I wish I could...that's a nice invitation.

I like Oklahomans...cool level-headed people.

We're having plain...old...turkey.

But, it'll be great anyway.

Both my wife and my son worked until 7pm on the 31st, and both came home pretty tired. My son had a short party to attend afterward but was home before 9:30. We had some egg nog with rum, toasted the new year, and then all went to bed. Yay.

Tonight we're going to get together with friends to celebrate-maybe. The she of the couple is working again today, and we don't know how late she'll be or how tired she'll get from what she does. Yay again. Maybe next weekend we'll have some time for fun.
