Well, it's about time for one of these eh ?.... let the speculation begin....
-iWork. Numbers.....finally
-updated Shuffle
-i reckon a big iTunes announcement as well.....regarding video content hopefully.
-updated Mac mins/eMacs....(maybe a convergence ?) using intel processors.
one more thing ?....a very cool, sneak peek at Leapord (im going out on a limb and predicting a significant leap in the GUI).
Cheers

Also, would it be too difficult to have the ability to stream video over to an Airport Express basestation ? I'm aware of the bandwidth limitation, but even at 11 mbps (802.11b). Thats ample bandwidth for video that can be put onto an iPod 5G. Basically all Apple needs to do is add an S-Video port onto the station.
Edit>> oh wait....they'd have to put in a decoder as well im guessing....and that would pretty much have to be the same processor as in the iPod 5G or something

A version of Pages that can export HTML properly would be good. I think the whole notebook range is ready for the new processor too.

iLife 06 with FrontRow Pro, iPod Shuffle with FrontRow remote built in
Intel Macs of some kind (iBook, PowerBook, Mac mini)
Mac mini Media Centre
iTunes TV downloads for places other than America (pfft! yeah right!)
iWork 2 with spreadsheet

If iTunes TV shows download were available in Canada, I would consider the purchase of an iPod video.
Personally, I am hoping to see an updated Mini, and possibly a 100Gig iPod.
Now, what color will the new cpus with Intel chips be?
Rumor has it, afaicr, that black is coming back.

It looks that it may become an awesome MW, I just hope we will not be dissatisfied when one ore more predictions don't come out to be correct.
After all the media attention - even the Financial Times mentioned the rumors - I don't see how Apple could come out of this without massive stock suffering if they don't roll out at least one intel driven Mac. My Intel Mac prediction is order of the most likely product:
- mini
- iBook
- PowerBook

I'd like to see the HTML after Pages mangled it. Forget what it looked like before you exported it.

Dirty images... AAH!!!
Really though?
- New Shuffle, no screen still, white and black
- 6gig Nano
- iBook and/or Powerbook and/or Mac mini go Intel, iBook is offered in black and widescreen
- iLife '06 (obviously)
- Possibly a preview of Leopard, but I'm not counting on it
That sounds decent to me.

1. Intel iBooks
2. Major updates to iWork (iPages, KeyNote) and maybe a spreadsheet (Numbers?)
3. iPhoto update
4. Sneak peek at Leopard (UI updates, even more clean, consistent (not metal here and aqua there) and refined)
5. Safari update
6. iChat w. interoperability with MSN, Yahoo, etc. (so no more Adium or Proteus).
7. QuickTime (handling Windows Media and RealPlayer files, hey I can hope)

iLife '06: Address Book integration into iPhoto to allow the tagging of pictures by the people in the picture. A new Share menu in GarageBand to aid in the publishing and sharing of music: Burn, publish to .Mac, create podcasts, all within the app. Also a new performance mode in GarageBand with a mixer board view to use your PowerBook as a guitar effects processor or performance midi module.
iWork'06: Numbers spreadsheet app, with better Keynote integration than Excel integration in Office. Also better word processing features in Pages and a graphical database app that uses a CoreData backend.
No preview of Leopard, just a mention (preview will come at WWDC).
Smaller, lighter cheaper iPod shuffle, still without a real screen (maybe a digit display or more lights)
More TV network partnerships (FOX, CBS) and Pay-for-podcasting partnership with Sirius (Howard Stern).
New PowerPC-based Mac mini with Front Row and DVR functionality.
No other new Mac hardware announcements.

Steve is going to state that Leapord will be able to have windows running in the background. So you do not have to switch, you just keep windows closed until you need to open it.

Then WWDC turnout will be 0 as everyone realizes they don't need to bother writing for OS X anymore.

I read in some Mac magazine a few days ago that they're possibly gonna be reveiling not a Mini Intel, but a Powerbook Intel with built in iSight.
|
|
17" iMac G5 1.9GHz iSight, Mighty Mouse(wish they'd make a bluetooth version), and JBL Encounter 2.1 speakers...

Isn't 6GB flash memory still priced too high. It will come eventually, but isn't it too soon?

Predictions:
1. New PowerBooks.
2. New Shuffle.
3. More iTunes phones (not Apple products, though).
Wish list:
4. iMedia: True integration of all audio and video playback, including HDTV support.
5. Combo AirPort cards that permit both Wi-Fi and cellular networking.
6. Home xServe: Smaller, quieter, and cheaper version of the pro-version. Works with iMedia.
7. Bluetooth Apple Mouse.

Whatever Apple is coming out with next week, I'm certainly looking forward to it. Google, MS, and others have turned up with heat with new all of these announcements (and rumors) at CES. Apple's lead in digital media is no longer a sure thing, so they need to introduce some compelling products or fall behind.
I like to see competition, because without it, Apple can become notoriously stagnant.
