Last monday i drove from Victorville, California to Minden, Nevada. 395 freeway all the way. It was actually a really nice drive. I have never ever seen so much snow in my entire life. Serious.

Anyways, that explains how I ended up in Minden.... This particular house had a spectacular view and i decided that i would attempt my first panorama picture. So i snapped away.

As you can plainly see there are a lot of mistakes, but its my first try so please be nice. =) Ill probably go back sometimes in july, and attempt this again. any tips?

what software did you use to stitch them together?

shoot on a tripod and if your camera has exposure lock, use that. i don't know what camera you have, but zooming in to about the middle of zoom range to prevent the distortion that comes with shooting at wide angle. there is other stuff but there's a start.

I attempted to find stiching software, but the ones that i found on VT and MU were clunky. So i just used photoshop.

I have a simple sony cybershot. I doubt it has zoom lock, but ill look into it.

not zoom lock, but exposure lock. you see how some of your pictures are dark and some are brighter, if you lock the exposure, all of them will be around the same.

you can just zoom in to the middle and keep it there as you take your pictures, because most cameras have a bit of barrel distortion at the wide end (making it hard to stitch).

Nice job, thanks.
