What are your favorite potato chips? Which ones do you think qualify as the best? Please post picture of bag if possible.

I am partial to non-western kinds because they taste exotic and awesome:

I also enjoy American Pringles® variety:

There are many western chips that are made locally that are sold throughout the US. Probably not shipped overseas.

I wont eat Pringles. Full of MSG.

The "lite" ones can give you anal leakage! (Or used to)

That's a little more information than any of us really needed, Kev.

Oh I am sure my brother wishes someone had given that information to him beforehand.
This Product Contains Olestra. Olestra may cause abdominal cramping and loose stools. Olestra inhibits the absorption of some vitamins and other nutrients. Vitamins A, D, E, and K have been added.[1]
The warning was popularly misquoted as containing the phrase “anal leakage”, which although not on the label, was indeed a problem with early formulations of olestra that were not marketed.
The warning requirement was removed in 2003, causing a new launch of products by Procter & Gamble, Frito Lay, and others.

So what if nobody from the States will have heard of them, Seabrook Crisps make the best crisps anywhere. you can even order boxes of 48 bags in ANY combination and they will deliver them direct to your door (often in one of there OWN vans, not via courier, UK only). They even sent me a Christmas card and one of each of there flavours as a gift, even though I have not ordered a box from them for ages.

A 50c bag of onion rigs. Can't get any more ghetto that those but only if you added the 25c fruit punch mini drinks. After you would smoke a Newport cig and just have all the flavors mixing in your mouth.

And let's not forget Gator Chips, Jalapeno potato chips. For the life of me I can't even Google for them, it always comes up with Cape Cod, Vickies, or Zappa's. None of which are my favorite brand, they're not "Gator." I thought they were made by Granny Goose, but I gues snot.

Ditto. (Mrs. Vickie's is the best I've found.)

I also like the sweet potato chips from Terra Chips. I usually end up picking them out from the bag of mixed vegetable chips ... the stores I frequent don't carry the sweet-potato-only bags.

And I like Tostitos "Hint of Lime", but those are corn chips, not potato. (I generally prefer corn chips over potato, anyway.)

Agree with wdlove and TheMosco. Cape Cod chips are very tastey, although I don't eat potato chips all that often, and when I do it's likely not Cape Cod, as I'm ususally not the one buying.

Someday we can have some potato chips together. Then you can try the Cape Cod Potato Chips.
