Uh...once he opened up his mouth, he did. Not to mention his style of clothes. And his parents didn't know. The kid went without letting them know.

He was already there. So what is his father to do? You help your kid get around as safely as possible.

And how are you going to do that when you're talking to him over the PHONE! There are ways I agree but when you have a son like that you don't want to scare him off. If he's determine to do this then let me make a path for him.

The path is to give sane fatherly advice and tell the son to get yourself to the nearest American Embassy or he could of contacted them himself (father) http://lebanon.usembassy.gov/lebanon..._services.html and stop this life threatening adventure. I would scare him as much as possible so he understands that he can be kidnapped and killed. The son is just as nuts as the father.
