It never ceases to amaze me how females who look like walking famine victims have become the "standards of beauty" in American culture. The woman in the OP is in serious need of sustenance without question. The funny thing is that this situation has come to be because many (if not most) of the fashion designers who employ these women for runway modeling work are gay men and they are the ones who make the decisions as to who gets the publicity and who does not. Now I mention their sexual orientation not as a knock, but to get across the point that the men who put these women in these positions are not men who are even interested in women from a sexual standpoint! These designers are all about the clothes and they employ these bone-thin models specifically because they don't have curves that will distract from the item they are wearing on the runway. The bottom line is that these no boob, no butt, toothpick leg "models" are there to be nothing more than a walking hanger! But so many American men have got it all twisted and have come to think of these females as beauty incarnate because they are the ones who get the exposure. But hey ... tastes do vary. To each his own.
