I wonder when they're going to make one for the hearing-impaired.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

just wondering, is there any particular reason for this logo?

edit: okay, this is what you get for leaving a safari window open for 50 minutes and coming back and entering a post.

Yeah I was just going to say that it really does those that depend on braille a lot of good...

But they are creative over there, that's for sure. They are one of my favorite companies.

Note that 'Google' is written in American Braille. You can tell by the first blue dot (called 'dot 6') which means that the next letter (the G - dots 1,2,4,5) is capitalised. This approach is used in the American style, but not in other countries - well, certainly not in the UK and importantly not in France, where Braille was from. Braille is remarkably efficient with its use of contractions etc, and I suppose capitals really offer nothing to language in reality.

Braille on google.com is as useful as braille on the drive through and touch screen ATMs at my local bank in Milwaukee.

I really don't get what is so thrilling about this. Just some font with the google gay pride colours.
