I don't know if this is the right forum for asking your opinions, but I have a dilemma and I can't solve it. I own a Powerbook G4 and an iBook G3 and I need to get rid of one of them. I don't know which to keep for myself, so I want to ask the veterans here if they could help me make a decision.

Laptop 1:
15" 400 mhz Powerbook G4
512 RAM
10 GB Hard drive
DVD-ROM
Airport
Problem: Needs new battery, missing two keys on the keyboard, video blanks out sometimes until i move the screen**

Laptop 2:
12" 600 Mhz iBook G3
256 RAM
15 GB Hard drive
DVD/CDRW drive
Airport

Problem: Needs new battery

Which laptop should I keep? My primary use for the laptop is Video Chat, Voice chat, word processing, email, and internet browsing.

Both laptops come with all the original box, paperwork, restore discs, and ect. I just don't know which laptop is better to keep. The iBook is clean, wheras the Powerbook has a crack on the top corner. Both run perfectly and smoothly. I just don't know which runs faster nor which is a better keep. Both LCD's are clean with no problems. Any help would be nice. Any questions anyone else wants to ask to help clear things out, please ask. Thanks guys!

I think the G3 as it seems less busted.

pb is faster....but there is alot to be said for the hdd on the ibook and that it's issue is battery only. i would say ibook is a keeper in this case.
some people are like slinkys: they don't do much, but are fun to push down stairs.

how come you must get rid of one? Well whatever the case may be. why not sell both and buy yourself something a little newer?

of the two i think i would choose the ibook though, less problems, and a cd burner.

good luck.

Agree with the above, sell them both and get a newer one, probably a refurb G4 iBook would be the best power for the money.

Look after my manor, or I will bum you, literally, to death.

I have to sell one because I had too many Apple Laptops. I bought them all so as to have a collection, but now after the holidays, i have a lot of bills to pay off and I need the cash so I got rid of two iBooks already... and I just have these last two laptops.
