People suddenly pop up out of nowhere on the web site.

Expect this new (at least to me) kind of advertising to proliferate. First it was ABC7's (Los Angeles) weather guy pimping the new web site overhaul, and now this.

Begs the question of whether this is appropriate for viewing at public terminals. At work? Better mute your box.

What I had here was a big massive fist taking over the entire screen

Ah ****, I hate this ****. TV has already shown us that the bottom 1/3 of the picture on the screen does not matter by virtue of all the crap they have bouncing around down there, and this is a natural evolution. Devolution. Bunch of mediocre idiots.
