Steve Jobs keeps calling Mac OS X "rock solid" and "stable", why is it then that he has to add a qualifier to this statement, saying "it's pretty awesome when it works". Watch as Steve Jobs and Phil Schiller embarrass themselves and go down in flames in front of thousands of Mac fans who end up laughing at them

Hey, if that was 10.0 Public Beta, then we get to compare it against Windows ME.

edit: oh hell, that wasn't even an Apple app that screwed up. It was a prerelease version of Quake III. Sheesh...

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

The main difference being, the OS may not have crashed. The only info you know is that the program crashed... it's not like they had a kernel panic... [which is comparable to a BSOD].

Well the OS crashed because it couldn't force quit the game. This still happens in OS X

Completely different... also, they didn't try to force quit... also, this was a beta... a CLEAR beta OS.

The BSOD that happened with Gates/Windows happened JUST before they were scheduled to release the OS.

That was back in 1998, and you're talking about outdated technology?

The Apple menu isn't a button, it's a menu.

And back then, it wasn't a control. It was purely decorative.

If you are anti-Apple, why are you on this forum?

Are you the kind of guy who hangs out in Republican forums and is a Democrat?

1. Weren't you born in 1986? You were an early bloomer eh?

2. I thought so. I have always found your claims to be an independent to be dishonest.
