It's not up yet, silly!

Apple will post it on the front page of apple.com when it's ready, just as they have done for years.

It's a pretty clear stream. Some of the older ones weren't this clear.

Ok, I'm going to hold off on that since I'm getting skipped frames. (The video is getting hit hard.)

HD is great for DVD, but you aren't gonna get any HD over a stream, not in the next few years anyway. The bandwidth would have to me a monster!

I can't get VLC to save it. It'll play the first one or two seconds, then dies.

Plop that into terminal and see if it'll work for you.

Tried and failed earlier. On a 1 meg connection it was watchable earlier (though less than 10 frames/sec) but now it will not even load. Perhaps I should go to bed (in UK) and try again tomorrow...

well, I skipped over pretty much all the stuff about the iPod and the new iLife. I was more concerned with Universal apps (how they even got this to work simply amazes me... ) and Rosetta, as well as the new MacBook Pro. Holy crap. I really want one of those. And the what was it, (yeah, I already forgot) like, $50 crossgrade to the universal versions of the pro apps? Sweet!

My favorite part was the commercial though. LOL

Fixing the line break issue in the above command doesn't work either. VLC launches, shows it connects, and ends up saving a 1159 byte file. Opening it in TextEdit reveals an attempt to inform the user that Quicktime 6 or higher is needed. Can VLC do user spoofing somehow?

For anyone posting the instructions, does it actually work for you? I haven;t been able to save any streams from Apple since WWDC 2005.

Our best chance is if someone actually brought a video camera to the frigging keynote.
