Hey 'NNers,

I hope your Day of Jobnote is going well. I received an email a bit ago supposedly regarding my paypal acct.

The link to the page to "change my password" had the proper address but the HREF was totally fake.

Anyone want to help me tear this site up? I couldn't find much in the source, but I figure I can make his/her life a living phish hell by submitting the same url with fake stuff in it over and over.

Here's the bogus paypal URL: http://83.246.119.22/us/cgi-bin/webs.../?logIN=upDATE

I've reported it to his ISP via the info I got off ARIN whois.

Thanks.

Welcome to your first spam mail.
Please, don't post a new thread everytime you receive an email like that.

Thx,

I try to keep my thread starting to a minimum, esp in the lounge.

I apologize if I have inconvenienced you, turtle, in anyway and I can only hope you don't add me to your ignore list.

Have to be very careful about fraud. Making it hard to know what is really real.

I think I will update the rest of my accounts. This is fun!
