Protect your Identity!

This is pretty serious. Take a second to protect
yourself.

I thought I should let you know about this. Now you can see anyone's Driver's License on the Internet thanks to a new amendment to the Freedom of Information Act. I just searched for mine and there it was, picture and all!! This seems like it violates our rights to privacy rather than benefiting us through access to this information. I'm worried about identity theft in particular.

I removed mine, and I suggest you do the same. Go to the website and check it out. Just enter your name, city and state to see if you or someone you know is on file. After your license
comes on the screen, click the box labeled "Please Remove," and enter the additional security questions to ensure you are the actual holder of the license.

This will remove it from public viewing, but not from law enforcement. GO TO THIS ADDRESS:

No, they don't ask for more than Name and state and you choose from the options that appear on screen. You'll understand it's not phishing once you enter the name and state info.
