I just set up a wireless network in my house that requires I put a PCI card in a Quicksilver. After installing OrangeWare's wireless drivers, I've found that the card is useless until they fix the bug with the new chipsets. Is there something else I can use or am I stuck waiting it out?

I'm not too sure. It's a Netgear WG311T. Bought it yesterday so it's the newest chipset on that card.

I guess it's gotta be an Atheros if you're using the OrangeWare driver. I'm not sure of any other drivers for Atheros chipsets.

Ya I guess you're right about the Atheros thing. Do you know of a card that uses Broadcom? I remember reading somewhere that Broadcom would work with the Airport software.

Here is a list of wireless devices with Broadcom chipsets. One thing to remember is manufacturers love to slap on a different chip and call it rev. b, while keeping the same product number and everything. I'd recommend making sure you can return it, or make sure there is only one revision of the device before you buy.
