Are more people on the board recently? Having trouble keeping up?

i say its time for a fresh start, archive all posts to this point, transplant users and start a new forum

Jeff ******* says (9:19 AM): Eww, Ottawa is gross. It's infested with politicians, and presently, 1 Harper as well.

The amount of wit, humor, sarcasm, and cynicism contained in the average MacNN post is enough to grind any DB to a screeching halt

Just discovered if you hit the back button it will give you a database error but if you then hit the reload button it will load the page ok.

I saw this twice before actually seeing this thread just then.

"There seems to have been a problem with the MacNN Forums database.
Please try again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, whom you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

So if it isn't the DB then fix your error message.

I feel sorry for the hamster who is getting all the error emails

You mean MacNN runs on your laptop?

That explains a lot.

'NN must hate my iBook then because it gets it quite often.

Demonhood has been kinda passive aggressive lately. I like it. (anyone else notice it here and then in the new dress thread?)

Yes, there are periods of time that they occur frequently, it's frustrating.

Nothing is wrong with the MacNN database.
There is no need to retype the post you just spent the last 15 minutes working on.
