This picture clearly shows that Peter is mentally challenged. In fact the title of that episode was "Petarded"

But uhh, i vote for Peter.

peter is definitely funnier, but homer is a close second. while we're at it, though not on the list: hank hill.

Peter is funnier NOW, but the classic Simpsons era was 100 times better then Family Guy could ever dream of being.

My sig is 1 pixel too big.

I think Peter could kick Homer's ass in a fight.

As for who is stupider, I think it's a pretty close tie. The limits of their idiocy know no bounds.

Lois: Okay here we go, "What color is a firetruck?"
Peter: Umm..okay..uhh..all right..firetruck..firetruck firetruck firetruck firetruck. What color are those red firetrucks? Uhh..I can picture them now...all red and everything.

I thought it was close too, until I remembered this little gem.

Homer. The Simpsons is all him pretty much, whereas Peter is just one of the characters in Family Guy. Both shows are great.
