New Horizon is on its way to Pluto take some pics. Earlier last year NASA had a sign up that you could put your name in and it'd be recorded to a CD. That CD is gonna be set down on Pluto.

So my name will be up on that tiny rock.

I don't remember if my name ever got to Mars. I still have the 'certificate' from my NASA signup.

I'm confused. I thought New Horizons was just a fly-by. So are they chucking a CD down to Pluto as they go by?

It's a flyby, but I think they're gonna chuck the CD at it. That way there won't be a planet humans haven't put garbage on. Except for Neptune.

That is an interesting idea that I missed out on doing.

A friend of mine worked on some sensors that are on board, and his name is actually etched under the cover one of their electronics enclosures. Mine's on the CD too, but I don't think that's a cool as what he's got.

So you think.

Plutonians may create one by the time the thing drops by.

I sent my name to Mars once.

I think it was on that one lander that had the metric/English mix-up and therefore crashed or something. Oh well.

I prefer my name to stay right here, thankyouverymuch. I'm using it.
Making sense is overrated.
