Sadly both of my parents are now deceased. 
I was always closer to my Mom. Think that it is just due to my personality. I miss her.

I get along really well with my dad. It's not to say that my mom and I don't "get along"... but I always fear her going off for no apparent reason - my dad's much more level headed.
