today i had to go to my trash to get a file that was accidentally deleted off the web. and i usually never bother to empty my trash. it took a while to load trash. so i went and got info.



just wondering if anybody else has had their trash can this full from more than a few items. theres 2,787 items in there right now.

its not porn... its just files i download. use, edit, or do what ever then throw in trash and leave. i think the last time i deleted something was back in september... like the 27 i think.

Signatures

Our current signature rules give you two options:

an image (200x50px max, 10KB max, non-animated) and up to one line of text, OR
no image, and up to four lines of text.
In either case, blank lines do count, and lines must be of reasonable length so they don't wrap on most screens (think 900px browser window width).

I usually don't empty my trash unless I need the disk space, but I have a 30 gig disk so its never been quite that big. except when I'm editing footage from my vidcam.

oh sorry about the sig then. I usally only use macnn for my mac questions because support is faster and usually better. This is the first time i tried a sig... guess i shoulda read the rules..

i always empty the trash as soon as i put anything in it at all so its always empty
or it would be if i didnt keep getting these restored files apearing in it
does anyone know what these are and where they keep coming from
it happens whenever i restart the computer

if it's a good one. i mostly download the free clips and keep the money shots. very economical.

That's happened to me a few times. When I emptied the trash yesterday it was 11.4GB or something like that. Lots of video(not porn)/song files usually
