It costs money and 3/4 of the WMVs out there still don't work with it. None of the eBaum's work, which is where I originally saw the video. NHL.com is useless to any Mac user... well, it's pretty much useless period.

It does? I have it installed right now...downloaded from their website...free of charge. Also, it doesn't seem to play any fewer files than WMP for Mac did.

They've changed it recently. It used to only play the first 1/4 of any movie until you bought it.

For some reason I saw this thread and was reminded of one of the many ga-oat-se pictures.

I especially liked the one with the guy doing curls with his twins. And the guy playing cat tree was funny too!

Flip4Mac is free and eBaum's videos work fine:

NHL.com also works fine:

That was funny, although being into weightlifting myself, it played into my deep fear of not being able to get the bar up during a bench press with no-one around to help. I have always wondered what would happen in that situation.

Eric Bauman. He sucks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EBaum%2..._controversies

One of eBaum's many mis-adventures;
In early January 2006, eBaum's World edited their page showing Sega's 'Super Monkey Ball Mini' game, apparently at the behest of Sega. The page no longer offers this game, but instead declares "You're a homo." The game in question was a proprietary work by Sega and permission was not given to eBaum's World to host or include the game. To compound the theft of intellectual property, eBaum's World directly embedded the game from Sega's servers into the eBaum's World website, assuring eBaum's World of advertisement profits without actually paying bandwidth costs associated with the game [15] (note the lower bottom transfer bar; advertisements are not included as they were filtered by this user).

The infringement was reportedly brought to the attention of Sega Corp. by a Something Awful member.

That was hilarious, well the time.

What I wonder is why Google doesn't get into the same trouble.

Hmmm... The wonders of the net.
