Ive got one that is dead. When its plugged into the wall it just ticks, kinda sounds like a dripping sink. Its coming from the speaker of it and the LED for the battery is blinking at the same rate as the ticking. I'd like to get it working to use at work, dont want to expose my Newton to the hell of my job. I know its a long shot posting here, but i figured might as well try it. I think it has Windows CE 2.2 on it.

I had a MobilePro that did the same thing. Love it to death though.

Maybe I'll get it out and try to get it back working. I'm sure I have it around somewhere. I got it for free with a PCMIA modem too.

Ok, getting somewhere with it. Left it on charge all night long. This morning its hotter than hell, but the ticking has quit. I think its the battery, because if you remove the battery, the LED goes to full green, whereas when the battery is in it the LED is blinking green/red. Might buy a battery off ebay for it. Then again i see them on ebay for $50 w/ 30 day warrente.
