doesn't the average person eat a bunch of bugs when they are asleep anyways?

It those things have bugs in it, I might need to try more bug recipes.
I think that the labels should say what the ingredients are though, it is kinda shady to cover it up calling it some non-recognizable word.
What do you think? Should they put "bug red" on labels?

I saw a feature story on this about 10 years ago but nobody believes me when I tell them. They shows how they use bug blood and only have to put "colour #XX".
Tomato soup was full of it.

The ironic thing is that the "crushed bug juice" is closer to "crabmeat" or "shrimp" (which surimi is usually sold as) than the fish waste that's actually in the stuff.
At least bugs are arthropods.

Yes, this stuff has been around a while. And yes, I've also had the fake crab stuff-and the fake lobster stuff as well. I like both. But it hasn't had any affdkfasdfasdk poet gfnw-358t asgf;' df'sdf
Ok, I'm better now.
Anyway, I agree that the FDA should require the source of artificial colors be listed on food labels exactly because, as CNN pointed out, vegetarians really should know what's in what they're purchasing. It doesn't bother me that much, but then I used to work with Air Force survival instructors...Their specialty is called Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape, or SERE. I refer everyone to 213 Things Skippy Can't Do and specifically, #189:
"Do not dare SERE graduates to eat bugs. They will always do it." Yep, they will, with a smile!

You really can't eat anything that doesn't contain some animal/bug part these days.

Sounds harmless, will just have to wait and see.

It's not blood.
And it's not a modern invention either.

Dude, clue me in. I'm about to throw my stock of Tomato soup out.
But really, bug? I mean they are kind of good to eat. Maybe chocolate covered.
