OK, so I'm thinking I might bother resurrecting my website from the dead... not sure I'll have enough time for it, but who knows. So I'm just wondering, I had a decent idea of what was useful around the time that I ended mine... but are there any new things like forums software packages, or blogs and what not that have really become better or worse?
Yah... so just... any set of scripts that makes your site better... that you didn't make yourself.

WordPress is a great free CMS. There are countless plugins for it to do anything.

Another cool thing we found recently is MagpieRSS that lets you put a rss feed into any page. http://magpierss.sourceforge.net/
Our slick implementation can be seen here: http://www.seriouswheels.com/

PHPbb is good for forums if you dont want to pay any money, but i hear there are some security issues.
