Agreed. I used to hate buying CDs - for the sheer fact that I always, always hated having to peel off that sticker along the top part of the jewel case. It always seemed no matter how hard I tried, some nasty sticky residue, fingernail marks, or part of the sticker would remain. Luckily, a friend told me a neat trick: pop off the front cover of the jewel case on the opposite side, and then slowly remove the sticker with the added support from the front case. Basically, just remove the entier front cover. Yes, you have to re-attach it - but I think it's worth it.

That's why you should always carry a pen. Opening DVDs, CD's, boxes, bags of peanuts...it works like a charm on everything. And you can get girls numbers with them too.

I hate it when a woman plays the game just as cold as a man does.

A lying bitch. A true slut.

I used to work at a CD store and would always open CD and DVD cases or older customers because I knew they would have a heck of a time opening them on their own. Heck, I have a tough enough time on my own with CD and DVD cases. Its often overkill to the max.

Luckily at the store I worked at I could use the edge of the counter to rip open CDs in half a second. Good old wood, man's greatest invention.

Don't you hate it when you get kind of drunk and have an internet connection? Nothing good can some of that.

I hate the god damn heat sealed quarter inch thick plastic packaging that can break a pair of garden shears and when you finally start to get it open your hand slips off and you cut your thumb nearly to the bone on a jagged plastic chunk of shrapnel.

That's the **** I hate.

...Reminds me of the Ellen Degeneres bit...

"The worst thing is trying to get into a brand new CD. Am I right? What has happened with the packaging of CDs? These are angry, angry people, these CD packagers. Open here, is that sarcasm? Are they mocking me? 'Open here!' And it's sealed with plastic, I've never seen this, it's thick...thick, thick government plastic! I think it's government...I've never seen it that thick before, civilians can't buy it. And it's like, are they trying to keep it fresh? Why is it sealed in plastic? And then you can't get into it, so you're just slashing with scissors, or a knife, or..that's how you have to get into anything now. All the packaging now is like that. Have you tried to buy scissors? You need scissors to get into scissors. What if you're buying them for the first time, how are you supposed to get in there?

Batteries are packaged like they never want you to get in there. Thick, laminated plastic, and thick cardboard and staples like from a staple gun. What could happen to batteries? And then try to buy a lightbulb..thin, thin, thin cardboard, open on both ends. What are they thinking? 'Oh they'll be fine!'"

Have you ever written a well thought out response to a discussion in one thread, then intentionally posted it in a different thread about something completely different, just to see how people would react? I've never done it, but I think I'm going to try it right now.

Come to think of it, it might be funny to post something random about computers in a automobile forum. That could be interesting.

I recently purchased a new SanDisk 512MB flash drive, and I still haven't opened it. As a matter of fact, it's been in my backpack since the day I bought it - 'cause I can't find a frickin' pair of scissors to open it up with. Or maybe I'm just too lazy to find a pair of scissors. Whatever. When I really need it, I'm sure I'll think up some creative, non-conventional (yet still functional) way of tearing it open.

I kind of wish all products were packaged like Apple's - I've never had a problem opening their products - even my 20" iMac when it arrived in the mail. My iPods? Piece of cake. iBook? Easy. I'm glad they don't believe in the "suffocate the product within a sea of tough, impossible to penetrate clear plastic" mantra that many companies do.

It really pisses me off when I try to rip open a ketchup package and instead of ripping on the angle, it just takes the entire side off the packet. Arrrrrgh.
