HI

I'm trying to string an acoustic guitar.

Should the plastic bridge bit slope up at the top (by the low/thick/bass strings) or slope up at the bottom (by the high/thin/steel strings) ?

That's confusing... let me put it another way... should the bridge raise the bass strings (E, A, D) or the high strings (G, B, E)?

Thanks

The hump usually goes on the bass side.

Assuming I've been stringing mine correctly, the bridge raises the low strings. EAD. If not, I'm in trouble.

Face the guitar towards you. From the left to the right (like reading) E A D G B E

When you play, holding the neck in your left hand, you will have the low E closest to your face.
