Nope. Anytime you drink Sierra Mist I do not get the hiccups.

sierra mist is a pepsi product - there must be something wrong with you.

Sierra Mist is the only Pepsi drink I can actually stomach. Pepsi Cola is too damn sweet and leaves a disgusting film in my throat, and anything related to Mountain Dew tastes like liquid snot. It's the most foul tasting soda on the market, but a successful marketing campaign to make it "cool" so kids drink it.

Eat a resturant where they don't wash their hands, get a head cold, then allow your sinuses to drain down your throat. That oughta do it.

in the pepsi machine in our building, every drink comes out very shooken up, and you have to open it a little bit and then close to let out some of the fizz. Every drink except Sierra Mist, perhaps the lemon lime crap has something to do with it.

I only get hiccups from drinking soda if I drink it directly from a can. Doesn't matter what kind of soda it is.

Green apple Sour Straws and Jolly Ranchers make me cough. Similar issue?

I am drinking Sierra Mist (from the can) as I type this and it has never given me hiccups. That being said, I prefer Sprite over Sierra Mist flavor-wise.

or perhaps its the fact theres no caffeen in it. the reason why i drink, or use too (the hickups are way to annoying) is because my body doesnt handle caffeen all that well, kidney stones, headaches stuff like that, not all that fun. anyways, i was curious if the hickup thing was just me or if others get it too. to the poster who said he gets hickups whenever he drinks soda from the can. do you gulp it down or sip it?

Keep asking them to get it. Back when I was a freshman I asked my dining hall to get rootbeer just about every day and 6 months later they finally did, and put a sign on the machine sending people over to thank me for it.

I don't drink carbonated drinks - but for some odd reason, I tend to get the hiccups sporadically whenever I eat a good amount of vegetables. I can't complain, though... I'd much rather have hiccups instead of flatulence any day of the week.

I'm insinuating you're in high school? If so, you're lucky you still have soda drinks. My school district rid our schools of soda machines my junior year in high school (back in 2003) - in favor of Powerade machines. Coincidentally, they have just as much sugar as a soda, but that was their brilliant solution to the problem.
