I saw the movie millions last night here at home on DVD.

We picked it up thinking that our children would enjoy it since it seemed to be for children.

But the truth is that it's for adults and children alike and it is simply one of the very best movies we have ever seen, period.

millions website.

I ordered 10 copies of the movie DVD and I'm giving it to my family and friends because the movie is brilliant and the message behind the movie is absolutely fantastic. It seems to be for children because it is centred around children, but it is much more than that. Amusing, compelling, and just wonderful with a surprise ending. It's wonderful.

If you want to see a wonderful movie that will make you think, make you feel good, and in some cases, simply change your perspective, then see millions.

Since it's Sunday, a good day to rent a movie, maybe even today is a good day.

Here is the trailer link through Apple and Quicktime.

When I read this title this movie popped into my head. I've had it in my NetFlix queue for a while and it got the top and I watched it on friday.

I agree, it was really good.

Hi Cody,

That is very nice of you. With our Nor'Easter, we don't plan to leave the house.

Cody, to counteract your 10 copies of this pathetic movie, I'm buying 50 copies of both Debbie Does Dallas, and Mad Max and handing them out to random people on the street.

I can't stomach the idea of filmmakers and Fox who make millions telling us we don't need money to be happy so give it to them.

It was definitely a nice film. I don't usually sit through movies of that type, but it more than kept my interest. It's worth seeing.

Just so some of you know, the movie actually supports water famine.

When you go to the official movie site there is a link at the bottom that directs you to WaterAid.org which is just wonderful.

The director was featured on television recently talking about donating a large percentage of the proceeds from the movie to assist with water relief in Sub-Saharan Africa and it piqued my interest to see the movie. When my son chose to see this particular movie I didn't really pay attention - until at the end when the interview with the director (the one that I saw aired on television) connected with the import of the film.

I think it's a wonderful film and it opened my eyes to the plight of millions without water and it motivated me to donate money to WaterAid.org and maybe it will prompt someone else to do so as well.

I vote for 'Saw 2' as absolutely wonderful.

Should be added along with 'Saw' to any 'absolutely wonderful' film library.

WDLove is the nicest person here.

While I'm saying that I'll also add that Cubeoid played a terrible joke on him and made him extremely upset - for no reason. WD has been here for years and has always been polite and kind to everyone and along comes Cubeoid for no reason and plays a terrible joke on him by telling him that he needs WD's help and trying to convince WD to adopt him so that WD can get him to come to the United States because WD does a lot of charity work on the side and likes to help people. Cubeoid, you're an ass is all I can say. A lot of us here think that. I used to think you were okay but now I know that you're just evil and repugnant. KARMA grifter-dude. I'm not nearly as nice as WD so I'll tell it like it is: LOSER.

WD, most of here like you and your cheerfulness and are on your side. and have a wonderful day.

Daisy Donovan used to be in a late night comedy skit program on Ch4 - 11 o'clock show [Ali G made his 1st appearance on British tv!] - where she would basically take the p*ss out of celebs whilst interviewing them. Very low brow, but funny as hell!

Good to see she has come good. Will see if i can get a hold of this.

Because I got, like, 20 emails from various people who emailed me in defense of WDLove and they are also upset with Cubeoid.

I've had a long talk with WD and told him that there are just plain evil people in the world - and some of them are even here, apparently.

An antic (i.e. a bizarre trick, as per this word's definition) is one thing. A cruel, well-conceived ploy carried on over a period of weeks is another. My details of this siutation are different than Cody's, but I'll say that this was quite a bit more involved than you probably think.

I'm glad I finally got the info, just because this board is crazy. It is very odd that Cody feels the need to share all of WDs and Aberdeen's stuff on the board. DRAMA.

Keep it fun, we enjoy it. Hot tea for all around.

IT'S ALREADY OUT HERE IN OTHER THREADS YOU ASS CLOWN, eunuchamai.

I'm just making it clear whose side I'm on - WD's - and why.

As far as aberdeenwriter goes, I never wanted to put his crap out here anyway. He's the one who privately emailed me and told me to make a public announcement about him at the boards. I didn't do it. Next thing I know he goes and spews his version of life events all over the place in a thread and I responded, plain and simple.

Meh, you both should be ashamed of yourselves. But this is just classic besson. Doing bad things, then later, trying to make justifications or "poo pooing" the harm done.

I mean Cub is still young, and I can blame his constant pot smoking habit on his lack of vision or whatever, But what is your excuse?

Getting humor at the expense of others seems to be both of your M.O.s

Then after someone mentions how lame it was, you come and try to justify it, or belittle any wrong-doing.

People would respect you more if you would occasionally apologize for such actions.

The actions were bad enough. The whole innocent act afterward is worse.

Don't worry, WD.

I don't smoke pot but I will say this much: I personally don't believe that pot spurs people to be evil and cruel.

I think you have to start out that way.

I'm glad Cubeoid is banned - maybe he'll stay banned for good. He should be.

Whew, thanks for clearing that up Cody, I had no idea you'd be on WD's side! Your motives are so pure! You have been getting more and more vicious on these boards. It's probably time for another name change so that people can try to like you again.

Oh and WD, I'm sorry that someone hurt ya. You don't deserve that at all. If you really are a person (not someone's alter ego), then you genuinely are probably the nicest person I've ever heard of. Keep strong.

No, but it does make one think things are funny, that are not. It also impairs one's judgement. Not that it's an excuse.

He was banned for other poor judgement actions that had nothing to do with this I think
