I have had my (Verizion) Motorola E815 since November, and while I like it a lot there's one issue in particular that's getting to be quite annoying: The battery refuses to calibrate. After a good amount of use post-full charge, the battery meter will show one bar empty out of four, but then the next time it changes it will show itself fully depleted (red bar). I have let the battery run until the phone shuts off, followed by a recharge, but the meter just will not get more accurate. I guess I'll call Motorola's customer service line soon, unless I can figure out how to get a more accurate reading.

Just throwing out a few ideas:

Did you look at the battery status found within the menu structure?

Did you do a firmware upgrade, the one that was just released not too long ago?

I haven't tried a firmware update. I'll look into that, thank you.
