My son wants to try it out. I got a 25ft ethernet cable only to realize that the jacks on the PS2 are USB.

Do I just need some generic ethernet-usb adapter? Or is it some proprietary Sony part? How much money am I looking at?

He has the NHL-06 game along w/ the current NFL and NCAA football games.

Would this work?

Thanks in advance!

No. IIRC the non-slimline PS2 has no ethernet.

You need this:

8 Core 2.8 ghz Mac Pro/GF8800/2 23" Cinema Displays, 3.06 ghz Macbook Pro

Thanks goMac! I definitely have the non-slimline version.
