If anything I think it will just be iBooks and perhaps an Apple branded stereo for your iPod.

Apple said "Fun products" and a mac Mini isn't exactly a barrel of monkeys.

Fun???

Could be a raft of universal binary games?

Or......Maybe they'll announce a Mac media center with a built in classic games console emulator?

"Fun Products"

I don't think they would hold an event because some game went universal binary.

If they are talking fun they prob mean iPod.

I think that this event will definetely by a big iPod/iTunes update. Maybe a fullblown video iPod along a significant update to the video store. They're timing it just after the 1 billion songs dowloaded. If I had to bet, I'd say this event is strictly the "music announcements that were removed from the January keynote" and then the new intel iBooks and Mac Mini's are coming in a few months. They probably would want to wait for the Macbook Pro to be in people's hands for more than a week before introducing new computers right alongside it. They like to keep one product in the spotlight for as long as possible.

iPodHDTV. It will be an 8x10 widescreen TV/DVD player when sideways, and an 8x10 digital picture frame when vertical. With on-screen touch sensitive controls of course.

I'm hoping for an Intel Mac Mini or a widescreen Intel ibook (MacBook) to be announced at this show.

Hopefully a new iBook/Mac mini, although I rather tend to some iPod/media releated thing…

"fun" and "new" imply something other than Macs. Not that Macs can't be fun, but it's never their main selling point. Although that living room Mac mini we've been hearing about could qualify. So I'm betting on that and the rumored iPod accessories.

Less likely: I suppose they could throw an iBook successor in there as long as they have the stuff that's primarily "fun". And it still seems kinda early for the Real Video iPod, but there's always a chance.

Speculation is always fun. Hopefully another Intel Mac. Apple having it's own hardware and software for viewing TV on a Mac would be nice.

I think it has to do something with the iCal style icon on the invitation other than the date listed, but I might be thinking too much.
