I recently won a copy of Macromedia Cold Fusion MX 7 Enterprise edition, which retails for $6000.00 and since I don't really have any possible use for this software I want to sell it. I've sold many things on eBay before, but never anything anywhere near this valuable. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to convert this into cash? I only see one other copy of this on eBay, but it has no bids and the cost of the auction with a reserve of around $5000 seems a bit steep when it is unlikely to sell. I thought about craigslist or even setting up an Amazon store or something like that but have no experience with any of this. I know this doesn't seem like a problem that anyone would mind having, but I don't want to sell it for way less than I could possibly get if I just did things in a little better way. However it goes I guess I will be getting a much nicer new Mac than I was planning!

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone might have!

Find a local retailer and see if they will buy it off of you. If they ordinarily make $500 per sale I'm sure they would buy it for $5000.

I'd try the Amazon used sales thing.

I checked into Amazon, but as far as I can tell the max value is $2500 when you don't have an actual "store" on Amazon.
