I was looking at something on imdb and came across this.

Apparently it's in production right now. Not sure if it's a new series or what? I've read rumors saying that it's a 2hr pilot for a return of the series on the SCI-FI channel.

This is so exciting! I loved that show, and just the other day saw that Dean Stockwell is on Battlestar Galactica. I'm thinking some sort of SciFi original movie... though maybe a sequel sort of series, like Stargate Atlantis. With Bakula off of Enterprise, maybe now is the time?

That has been listed on IMDB for 2+ years now.

'Twas a good, quality series, unlike Enterprise, in my humble opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of continuation, as long as it is done right.

I never really watched it, except for the episode that seemed to be a test drive for the movie that was called "Driving Miss Daisy".

By the way, "Quantum Leap", the physical phenomenon, was never meant as a movement forward, but rather, as a discrete change of orientation of the angle of the wave packet (i.e.: 0, 45, 90 degrees, etc.).

It is great. If you're in the UK you can catch it every weekday at 6pm on ITV3, and after it, only the best show ever made - Due South!
