With this game coming out...eventually in the US, and next Thursday in Japan, I figured I'd start with some positive news.
VERY positive.
Famitsu just gave it a PERFECT score - 40/40.

They keep promising that each one is the final fantasy, they just keep coming.
False advertising like the time I went to the Neverending Story.

So after all this they are releasing it for the PS2? Meh. By the time it hits shelves here in the US the PS3 will be out.

I just finished 9, borrowed it from a friend. I enjoyed it very much though the choices they made on the graphics side I found awkward. I hear 10 is supposed to be very good. I'm surprised Square Enix hasn't come out with more FF games recently.

Well, they released FFX in 2001, FFXI in 2003 and then FFX-2 also in 2003. That was a pretty good pace. I think Square was concentrating on FFXI since then.

I'm still playing that evil game Final Fantasy XI (online). There's an expansion for that, The Treasures of Aht Urhgan, being released next month. I'll be ready to be Final Fantasy'd out.
