There's this song that I've heard a couple hundred times that I want to get, but I don't know the band or the song name. The best I can do is describe sort of how it sounds. The meat of the start of the song is quick electric guitar playing. There aren't a lot of different notes played - kind of just oscillating back and forth. The song kind of has a sense of anticipation - I only ever hear it near the end of a sporting event. I just heard it on ESPN radio today as the intro to one of their hours.

Any guesses (with iTMS if applicable)?

Nah, that's not it. It has a faster beat than that. All the notes played sound like they're 16ths notes.

I'm surprised that besson3c hasn't solved the puzzle.

That would be nothing compared to some of the guys who post "I'm looking for a song, it goes 'doo doo doo da da da bonk thrash'" and somebody gets it. I've seen it twice. Go figger.

"'Jelly Hat' sounds silly," I told Prince. "How about something poetic, like 'Raspberry Beret.'"

If it helps any (doubtfully), it's ESPN 1000's intro music during the five o'clock hour.

Standard rules apply Ghoser - hum it into your mic and post the resulting sound file.

You can switch to the German store from the bottom of the store frontpage. Then clicky again.

Okay, that wasn't it either. I'll try to get a hummage of the tune up later.

Yeah. I had a thread like that. Doofy (as well as others) was most helpful, after I made a recording of the melody with an electronic keyboard.
