I have been working on a project for three days now and just found out (smacks head) that the person/company that I was doing the work for has given me the wrong project.
Yes, I will get paid for the work, but not what I would have made originally, and I wasted my weekend working for nothing when I could have spent it with my family. I'm extremely annoyed. I was thinking of telling them to take their project/order and shove it, but instead I think I'll indulge in a cocktail here in my home: A white "whine" spritzer.
What would any of you have in a similar situation, say, if you were going to try to mellow out?

Alright here's my deal. I have work proposals for both my summer job and for my job next school year. Just finished the first. In between, which is to say right now, I have to write an essay comparing to critiques of capitalism with respect to the auto industry.
Then I ahve about a billion pages of reading to do by thursday.
Point being, screw happy hour, ask me how much I'm going to drink this March 17th?

Has the project and payment all ended well Cody? Did the wine help? I 'm sure that you are on to your next project already. Just pace yourself.
