So awhile back I found the "blender" thread that someone had posted to be very informative. Thought I tap all as well on some food processor advice....

I'm looking for one that will allow me to make my own gyro meat - as well as real fine ground beef.

Suggestions please.

Thanks!

Just bought this Kitcheaid yesterday.

You can get a meat grinder attachment for it that's second to none.

I bought a mini stainless-steal Cuisinart from Williams-Sonoma a few years ago for about $30 and it works great. Looks cool too.

My suggestion would be to take a look at Consumers Report for their recommendations.

I agree with Mastrap -- get a meat grinder if your goal is to grind meat.

Well, I do need a food processor as I'm also looking to 'mash' food for the little one. Also a friend suggested a food processor for gyro meat - mmmmmm.....

KitchenAid 11 cup.

Love it to death.

You could buy yourself a meat grinder, but what else does it do?

A food processor or a stand mixer with an attachment will serve you better long term.

er... yea - still VERY expensive... even by Potomac standards. Unless you're trying to show it off... for that price.. you can get a Waring commercial grade processor.

I can't believe you followed me from BB.com. (Actually I can). You got me unjustly banned and now you are trying to mess me up on another forum. That's ridiculous. This has to be Budweiser, only Budweiser would stoop to such internet Dou<hbagery.
