From the FAQ: They are currently in Pre-Production, they have no time table for Beta or Release, it will be at least 2 years from Beta. Available on the PC Platform only.

This thing is never gonna happen.

I might have cared when I was still young and had the time, though then again, I wouldn't have had the computer to play it on, so I was damned either way.

How about everyone email them now instead of after the game is made, and tell them to support OpenGL and to not use DirectPlay.

Yeah right, like they'll listen. But just maybe. At least if they adhear to real standards there's a chance that someone like Macsoft can port the game for them and it'll be compatible with the PC version.

Speaking of Star Trek games. I always thought it'd be kinda fun to make a Star Trek game around The Sims engine. You'd build your ship and assign a crew to it. Then you'd have to do all the normal Sims stuff to keep your ship functioning and your crew happy and productive.

Well, I was going to email them or something, but after staring for 20 minutes at their webpage I gave up on finding any contact information.
