That fire in York County was on Goodwin Neck Road. It was about a mile from my house. I could see and smell the smoke.

OMG.....i have the same experience though last new year when a few kilometer from our house a factory of fireworks exploded because one arrogant worker was smoking inside....anyway the fire took 3 hours before its down and when i went to see what is happen i can feel how hot the fire was even i was standing about 200 meter away from it....that is really horrible...thank God no one died from that fire...

heh, it hadn't rained in Phoenix for 133 days. That's a place in need of rain....of course Glendale Arena's upstairs smoking section was uncovered. when it rains here, it pours! Flagstaff Snowbowl got 58" of snow on the upper mountain this weekend, they hadn't opened all year, but that should be enough to keep them open for "several weeks." lol

Just wait until this sunspot cycle gets started! We'll be in for some serious global warming then!
