I have one, Exilim Z50, with 5 mp, seems to be fine. But I also have Canon S45 and that one (though bulky) shoots great pictures. Casio is really slim and compact, good for occasional shots. Did not have chances to compares pictures though. On open air, Casio is good as well.

i have a sony dsc-w5 now takes GREAT photos, too bulky though. I am thinking of selling it on ebay and purchasing something smaller I can fit in my shirt pocket. I want to keep it under 250. any suggestions?

Y'know, there's a Peripherals Forum for discussing peripherals. Why don't you ask there?

But while I'm here, I'll tell people what I always do in these camera threads. Read some reviews on Digital Photography Review and Digital Camera Resource Page. Another big review site is Steve's Digicams, but I'm not that familiar with 'em. The 2 I listed have search features which'll let you list all cameras that meet a particular set of criteria.

Last time I was shopping for a compact digicam, I remember that several Exilims got good reviews all 'round the web. Almost bought one but got information overload and just went with a Canon 'cause I was used to the menu system.
