This company set a new storage record. They crammed over 500GB of data into 1" of storage space using the relatively new (in application, the theory is rather old) holographic HDD.

That's gonna be some insane. I have it wrong, I'm sure, but assuming you're using a 1.8" laptop drive (is that the size of the platter?), then the drive could a little more than 4TBs of data.

They do. We have microprocessors integrated with neurons. They're not 10-years-old, but they exist now.

Laptops use 2,5" drives. iPods use 1.8" drives.

The article was wrong about the 20Mbps, in the press release it's stated as 20MBps. It's not that slow.
