"Campbell's agent, Amanda Silverman, said in a statement: "We believe this is a case of retaliation, because Naomi had fired her housekeeper earlier this morning. We are confident the courts will see it the same way."
Looks like she got framed. Oldest story in the book really.

Naomi Campbell too pretty for jail? Au contraire, mon frere. She is perfect for some incarceration. It will give the male prisoners something new to think about while they are spanking it and it will give the female prisoners a chance to bust the chops of a super-model.

One should never stop striving for clarity of thought and precision of expression.
I would prefer my humanity sullied with the tarnish of science rather than the gloss of religion.

Two thoughts.
1) Expect the charges to be dropped and an undisclosed settlement for damages to be paid the "victim." (Anyone ever see the film, "Intolerable Cruelty," where Catherine Zeta-Jones marries and only STAYS married to rich guys long enough to qualify for a hefty divorce settlement? Not accusing the housekeeper of anything, but...)
2) Sounds like Naomi might benefit from clearing her reactive mind. Scientology, anyone?
Campbell, who grew up in South London, said that her father abandoned the family before she was born and her mother was often gone because she worked long hours to send her daughter to prestigious schools to study singing, drama and ballet.
"I've not always displayed my anger in the appropriate time," she said in a 2000 TV interview in which she said she had attended a U.S. clinic to help manage her anger. "It's a manifestation of a deeper issue, I think. And that, to me, I think is based on insecurity, self-esteem and loneliness."
Campbell has also admitted to drug use in the past. In 2004 she won a British court battle with a tabloid newspaper that was found to have invaded her privacy by running a story saying, correctly, that she had visited Narcotics Anonymous.

America should know the political orientation of government officials who might be in a position to adversely influence the future of this country. http://tinyurl.com/4vucu5

If the housekeeper actually got fired earlier that morning, then I have to say that Campbell probably didn't do it. Although I always get a nice chuckle when these famous people realize that the real world doesn't revolve around them and that rules do apply to them. If she's guilty I hope the judge sets an example.
