Just visited thinksecert forums http://forums.applenova.com/

Somome has changed all the catagory descriptions into anti mac abusive comments

"This is where you mouth-breathing losers should go to argue about when Steve Jobs will jack off next." is one example.

Quite funny really, but hope they can fix it,

Those hackers should really plan their attacks more carefully. Someone might think this is an April fools joke. maybe...

Well, I have to admit, it's kind of a chuckle...

But it leaves me wanting to know what forum SOFTWARE they're using... to be able to be hacked (assuming it wasn't a disgruntled former employee).

Anybody know?

Go to the site and look at the page header This ain't rocket science.

Nice April Fools joke. I'm so glad not one person pulled one today. Locking all the threads is very easy to do.

<-- My bad...

Guess I'm so used to folks willing to pay for vBulletin (like MacNN) leaving the vBulletin info at bottom of page.

But... Even w/ vBulletin "Locking all the threads is very easy..." ???

I don't guess you want to be explaining how? But: if it's so easy, how come I've yet to notice it here? (Same reason as not looking at the source code for vBulletin? )

PS: The "April Fool's" Joke at AppleNova Forums continues as of 5:24am MDT April 2nd

Because mods / admins here don't have a reason to lock all the threads.

applenova is NOT the thinksecret forum. We're associated by a link from thinksecret and that's it. BTW, it wasn't hacked. The admins/mods are just having a bit of fun.
