I have just ordered my Crossgrade. Now that they will not be selling each studio app individually, it means you will normally have to stump up the £899 for the full Final Cut Pro Studio.

I use Motion 2 so have crossgraded from that. Motion cost me £199 about 4 or 5 months ago. I have now paid the £139 for for the crossgrade which will mean that next week I will have the universal version of the FULL Final Cut Pro Studio for a total investment of £338 making that a saving of £561!

One wonders how they are going to stop abuse of this. No where in the T&C's can I see that an individual can't do this deal multiple times. In fact it says this;

"Limit one Final Cut Studio Upgrade Kit per qualifying product. "

The only thing I can see is that maybe I am not going to get the full boxed version as it also states this:

"Entitlement is limited to the original Install DVD of the qualifying product."

But maybe this refers to my Motion DVD I have to send in (which probably makes more sense). I guess I will find out next week when it is delivered.

I just got mine today. It only includes the disks and a couple pamplets. What a killer deal. All for only $500.

What apps are they no longer selling separately?

I thought it might just be the disks and not the retail packaging.

One less box to store I guess!
