This is very annoying, and only happens when the Finder is the only visible program running. I am on 10.4.6 with the latest firmware on an Intel Mac Mini. When I press the left mouse button down for any reason in the top left corner of my screen, I hear a dog barking. This happens on both the Apple menu and Finder menu. Can anyone else duplicate this? I have not installed anything on this computer that affects the system, so this is a very odd problem.

Haha. I did figure out where it was coming from, but it still weird. I had this website loaded in Camino.

http://www.nashville.gov/parks/

It won't do it in Safari. But load this website in Camino, and then go back to the Finder and hide all windows. I looked at the code in that page and there is a hidden Flash file that is the dog bark. I have no idea, though, why the file plays when I am clicking menus in the top left corner of my screen when that web page is hidden.

That's pretty funny.

These are all funny comments, but has anyone actually tried to duplicate this? Its very odd that clicking a menu causes a sound in a Flash movie to play when the web browser is hidden. It only does it when that page is scrolled all the way to the top and then Camino hidden. It doesn't happen in any other browser or when the page is scrolled down and hidden. This leads me to believe something screwy is going on behind the scenes with Camino's implementation of the Flash plug-in.

It doesn't really matter anyway, but I am curious to know if anyone else can duplicate this and if so on a PPC or only Intel Mac.
