I am doing a t-shirt project for my class. I want to put a sentence on the t-shirt that defines a mac geek. It has to be strong, short and clever. If I end up using someone's quote. I will send them a t-shirt for free. Please help me?
Let's get creative here people~
Thanks for the help!

G Unit is a common phrase on T-shirts these days.
I would probably go with iGeek
I can't really think of anything else that sounds really T-Shirty. Then again I'm not a small slogany type.
I think I'd probably like a shirt that says,
"My laptop's sexier than your laptop."

From the old "Classic" days....
1) "I blessed my System Folder"
2) "Secret About Box" (the little System 7.5 bug in the Notepad app.)
3) "Cozy lummox gives smart squid who asks for job pen" (a little long, but it's from opening a Font in Mac OS Classic) (probably best to divide it into two lines if you're gonna put it on a T-Shirt)
4) A/ROSE (only TRUE Mac geeks would be able to make any sense out of it)
5) "ZAP THE P-RAM!" (i'm sure i've never, EVER done this on a PC...)
6) "FROG-BLAST THE VENT CORE!" (Marathon 2: Durandal)
7) 1.5 GHz G5 > 3.8 GHz P4 (where '>' stands for 'is greater than') (i know, i know... i most likely don't know the first thing about comparing chips to chips.... but then again, most non-geeks don't even care)
Alas, i have none from OS X to share...

Think Mac
or
iThink, iPower
although Apple drops the "i".
What about QUAD or the number one geek toy: iCluster

I actually looked online for the shirt since I knew I had seen it before. Funny thing is I saw /~ not 127.0.0.1 so someone else must be making them as well.

This is cropped from a fake ad that, if I remember correctly, came from Wired magazine circa 1997 or so. The rest of the ad goes on to talk about a ficticious operating system for Mac called "Eden" that will "leave all other operating systems feeling cast out."

I love that idea. but they would have to be anti-aliased so they would lose some of their magic.

"G FINDER" (which the forum software mangled into G Finder) has nothing to do with "G Unit" (whatever that is). It was the way out of the debug window thing on OS8/9 Macs.
We had a lot of fun in jr high "locking" peoples computers by hitting the key combo for the debug window.

Does it have to be something that only other Mac geeks will “get”, or does it have to be something that most computer-literates should be able to get?

good question, Sage
I was looking for more like the words that most people would understand.
However, all the thing you guys mentioned were great.
I need to be more geeky to understand them as because I switched after OS 9 era.
keep them coming guys!

rickey939, what kind of box do you use?
127.0.0.1 is universal and /home is unix. Mac uses /Users not /home! Also cd ~/ feels at home on every unix box.
What about "unix reinvented" maybe you can decorate the x or the i-dots with an apple.

I also really like the "Mac Geek World Tour" idea. Couldn't you use Photoshop (I know, raster blah blah) and turn off text anti-aliasing to achieve the right effect? Or heck, with all those sharp aliased edges you could probably trace them in Illustrator pretty well.

yeah but it still wouldn't be hand drawn by susan kare. I've been thinking about some phrases myself here are some of them.

A shirt with a giant power symbol doesn't really speak "Mac geek", it's kinda generic.
How about something like "I (giant command symbol) you!".... or something better than that.

I vote for "I (command) you"!
that's just geeky and mac-ish enough but not too obscure but also a clear difference from Windows. At least from my experience switching back and forth between mac labs and windows labs for all my classes.

The y is kind of cludged on the end there. Perhaps /h.app/y would be better. Perhaps not
