Back in the mid 80s one of my best friends had a meteor crash onto his front lawn. He was on the news and everything, got several offers of a few thousand dollars for it. He kept it (which I'm glad.)

That thing was HEAVY. It was 90% iron, 8% nickle, 2% miscellaneous. It was about the size of a football. Suffice it to say, they had no front yard anymore and if it were a little closer it would taken out their living room wall.

I used to work with a guy who collected asteroids. It was amazing to see the variety between them. I think he buys and sells them on eBay now.

OT: Did anyone find a link to the $93k space rock yet?

Did it come with a space peanut?
I like my water with hops, malt, hops, yeast, and hops.
